Who are you?
TrainingReport.org is a Police Technical Inc. property. Police Technical Inc. is a team of talented individuals focused on providing technical training and development services to public safety agencies and related industries. Thomas M. Manson is the owner of Police Technical Inc.

Why are you doing this?
We designed this website to provide a missing service to the law enforcement community, namely to provide individuals and agencies with the ability to research law enforcement training before they make training decisions. To read more go to the About Us section.

What happens to the information I put into a Training Report?
The information you provide when writing a new training report is available to any registered user to the site, i.e. EVERYONE. That is what the site is designed to do. If you fill out a report on a class you attended a few days later everyone registered with TrainingReports.org will have access to it; with the exception of your personal information.

What happens to my personal information?
Any personal information provided to TrainingReports.org is maintained according to our privacy policy. We gather only enough information to verify a person actually attended the course they are critiquing; Name, Agency and Email. We will not sell you out and we will not give out your name.

What is the process, or life cycle, for a training report?
When a training report is filled out it goes to a "holding tank" for review by a human. If no obvious "red flags" appear in the review process, we will approve the training report and post it for any registered user to the site. The report will remain available indefinitely. Red flagged reports will be researched and posted if deemed accurate; reports deemed inaccurate will be deleted.

Red Flag examples:
A class that lasted for 3 years
A class that cost $1M per person
A class in which the reviewer rated everything to the extreme

How do I know a training report is accurate?
Accuracy n: the quality of nearness to the truth or the true value.

The training reports on this site are as accurate as the last report filled out by someone on your department. If you don't know what that means or how to interpret it then this site is probably not for you.

This website is for law enforcement. The personnel filling out these training reports are active law enforcement, and as such, are required to tell the truth. We have provided an opportunity for personnel across the country to assist one another and we believe they will accurately do so.

How is this site "free"? Nothing is free.
The site is supported by advertising. Our monthly newsletter to registered users will also contain advertisements. Learn more about advertising on this site here.

I see a report that is inaccurate. What can I do? (I attended the same class)
Register as a user and fill out a report on the same class. Your opinion matters and should be included. If someone is searching for information on that subject, company or instructor your report will have the same chance being viewed.

If you feel a report is a blatantly false call Police Technical Inc. at 812-232-4200.
